Children’s: Jean Craighead-George! So funny — I didn’t realize she was from Chappaqua until last night when I picked up Andy’s copy of My Side of the Mountain (one of my childhood obsessions) and suggested that now that we’re living in the city we should read it again.

    Classics: Kidnapped

    Non-Fiction: Queen Noor

Book Club: ? I an only say not Song of Solomon or the Bluest Eye

    Authors: Calvin Trillin

Book Bag: Why is this category always mysteries? I know these books only by their ubiquitous appearance on the shelves of airport bookstores. No idea what the cat’s name is.

Two, actually, since it doesn’t look like there are many devoted Toni Morrison fans here.
